Flight 93 Memorial Altered
Likely due to public comments, the "Crescent of Embrace" design for the Flight 93 memorial in Pennsylvania will be altered.
This should be contrasted with the International Freedom Center's continuing attempts to dilute the World Trade Center memorial by using tyhe site to discuss history or foreign policy. The WTC site should be used to remember the dead, just as the Gettysburg battlefield isn't used as a springboard to discuss Lincoln's martial law declarations.
The designers of the WTC site should take a note from the Flight 93 site people. listen to the criticisms and attempt to address concerns raised, rather than trying to slug out a fight with the families of the victims.
